Buffalo Chicken Wrap for a quick and easy lunch!

Buffalo Chicken Wrap

Buffalo Chicken Wrap . . . a new one for me!

Today I tried a new wrap for lunch . . . a Buffalo Chicken Wrap! I have never wanted to try it because I thought it would be hotter than I would like. But, surprisingly, it was not! Of course, we used “Medium” buffalo sauce instead of “Hot”. So, I think it could be hotter for those who like it hot! Another plus for this new, tasty wrap, is that it is SUPER EASY! How’s that for a quick and easy lunch idea?

Making the Buffalo Chicken Wrap . . .

The Buffalo Chicken Wrap is so easy and simple to make IF you have all the ingredients on hand:

  • wraps
  • lettuce
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • baked chicken
  • ranch dressing
  • buffalo sauce

That’s it. Then you just layer the the ingredients in the wrap and eat!

Buffalo Chicken Wrap

I ate a small Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad with this Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It was a perfect lunch combination. In fact, this wrap with a salad is all you would want or need for lunch, or dinner for that matter. You have your protein, bread, veggie and dairy all in one! Delicious! I think I will make another one REAL SOON!!

Buffalo Chicken Wrap Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Wraps (1 per person)
  • Lettuce (I generally buy Romaine)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Baked Chicken (2 strips per wrap)
  • Buffalo Sauce (We used medium)
  • Ranch Dressing

Instructions:

  1. Lay the wraps down on a flat surface.
  2. Place a little lettuce down the center of each wrap.
  3. Place some shredded cheddar cheese on top of the lettuce.
  4. Add a couple of strips of baked chicken.
  5. Drizzle the chicken with buffalo sauce.
  6. Drizzle with ranch dressing.
  7. Wrap and eat!

NOTE: Keep baked chicken in your freezer at all times. Then all you have to do is take a couple of pieces out, thaw, cut in strips, then make your wraps. This is also a great recipe to have on your LEFTOVER list when you have baked chicken:)
