Mama and Sweet Potatoes . . . Mama loves sweet potatoes! In fact, that may be the understatement of the year. LOL!!! So, when Candace saw all the frozen sweet potatoes in her freezer, she sent me a recipe for Mama and I to make Streusel Oatmeal Sweet Potato Muffins. And, we made them last week! Mama and I have made several sweet potato recipes over the last few years. Some of our favorites are Sweet Potato Chess Pie, Sweet Potato Bread with Streusel Topping, Mama's Sweet Potato Pie, and the Maple Cinnamon Sweet Potato Bread, which we also made the same day as these muffins. Banana Nut Streusel Muffins . . . delicious for breakfast or snack! Have you ever had overripe bananas and wondered what to do with them? Well that was me today. So, I decided to search Pinterest, the internet, and different bloggers I follow to get some ideas as to what to make with them. I didn't want to make a banana bread, and muffins seemed to call my name. One of the recipes I found was for Banana Macadamia Nut Muffins on the Brown Eyed Baker's blog. Grandmama Hall’s Buttermilk Biscuits! . . .

Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, or Anytime! In the last couple of weeks, I realized that I have been sharing a lot of my Grandmama Hall's recipes--her Goulash, her Buttermilk Pancakes, her Chocolate Sheet Cake, and many more! Glazed Strawberry Cheesecake Muffins!

I'm still cooking with strawberries! I was looking for strawberry recipes again this week, and I found this recipe for Glazed Strawberry Cheesecake Muffins in one of my cookbooks. This recipe, however, uses strawberry jam. Well, that is, technically, strawberries . . . right? LOL! I had made these muffins for a Mother's Day Luncheon I hosted for my family in 2008. Since I haven't made them since, I thought it was time to make them again.
