Swedish Meatballs for an easy main dish!

 Swedish Meatballs . . . easy and delicious! Swedish Meatballs was not a dish that anyone in my family ever made. But, as I was looking through a cookbook I bought years ago,  I found a recipe for them. And, since I had some ground beef, it seemed the perfect time to try them! If you have never eaten Swedish Meatballs, you are missing out on a delightful easy main dish. The meatballs are simmered in a tasty sauce, then served over buttered noodles. Yum!!! Aunt Ann, Daddy's little sister . . . Aunt Ann Trickey is my Daddy's youngest sister. Of the seven children born to Grandmama and Grandaddy Booe, only Aunt Ann is still with us. Grandmama Hall’s Goulash Recipe…

I originally posted this on April 7, 2015, the day after Grandmama Hall's birthday. When I posted it on Facebook, there were SO many comments and requests for the recipe, that I lost count! Salisbury Steak, a Welcome Home Dinner!

Candace's Welcome Home from the hospital . . . Saturday afternoon, Candace was released from the hospital following her hernia surgery. So, I told her I would cook dinner for them. I thought about what she and her family would like to eat, and decided to make the Pioneer Woman's Salisbury Steak. I had made it a couple of times before and remembered it to be really good:) I did tweak it a little, changed a few ingredients to ones that I like more. Cast Iron Skillet Burgers!

Burgers for the 4th! I've always wanted to be able to cook a really burger INSIDE the house! You know, sometimes it's just not convenient to "fire up the grill", as we say in Arkansas. But, my hamburgers cooked on the stove have been blah and generally disappointing. I am my worst critic, but I know when something I make isn't as good as it should be. But, I found on the Plain Chicken blog, a recipe for Cast Iron Skillet Burgers.
