4 Favorite Strawberry Recipes for Spring! It's still strawberry season, so I decided to compile 4 Favorite Strawberry Recipes for Spring! Two Strawberry Pies, Strawberry Cobbler, and a Strawberry Shortcake that my Grandmama would have been proud of:) The two pies are totally different . . . my Mama's Strawberry Pie is our favorite with a cream cheese filling, fresh strawberries and a cooked strawberry filling.  I have shared it on posts in the last couple of weeks, but it bears repeating! Old Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake for Dessert!

It's Strawberry Season! It's Strawberry Season in Arkansas and that means fresh, plump, delicious strawberries are ripe for the picking! The first recipe we make is usually Mama's Fresh Strawberry Pie. This year, in addition to the pies, I decided to make an Old-Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake, similar to the one Grandmama Hall used to make. Mama said that Grandmama would bring the crusts on the plates, then assemble the shortcakes at the table, spooning the fresh berries between the stacks of crust.
