Favorite Desserts for Easter! I recently made a dessert cookbook for my three grown children. So,  I decided to share four of our Favorite Desserts for Easter with you that we have made for our Easter dinners. Two cakes and two pies. Three of them are my mother's recipes and one is Candace's. Gran's Strawberry Pie . . . An easy and delicious pie for spring or summer Since it is strawberry season, I decided to share some of our family favorite strawberry recipes. This pie, Gran's Strawberry Pie, was given to me by my mother-in-law many years ago. It is a delicious and easy strawberry pie for those days when you don't want to make a crust and cook the strawberry filling. Mama’s Strawberry Pie!

Mama's Strawberry Pie . . . Some of my favorite memories from my childhood was centered around food and family dinners. And, Mama's Strawberry Pie is included in those memories in the spring when strawberries were in season in Arkansas. Mama said that Grandaddy Hall would have Grandmama bake him a strawberry pie every day during strawberry season. He LOVED strawberry pies, as did we. Grandmama Hall's recipe was a little different from Mama's because Cool Whip had not been created:) With strawberries now in season, Mama and I decided to make her Strawberry Pie.
